2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NE14FORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION
3 OF YIELD RIGHT -OF -GRAY SIGNS

511 GRHEREAS, Section 12.36.020 of the Newport Beach Muni-

61 cipal Code provides that the City Traffic Engineer shall erect
71, and maintain yield right -of -way signs on any street or intersec-
8 tion when such signs are authorized by resolution or ordinance
91 of the City Council, and that when yield right -of -way signs are
10 erected as herein provided, every driver of a vehicle shall yield
11 the right -of -way as required by the California Vehicle Code; and
121 G,MREAS, yield right -of -way signs should be authorized
13 on the following described streets and intersections;
14 NO€+R, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that yield right -of -way
15 signs are hereby authorized to be installed on Estelle Lane,
16 Marian Lane, Nottingham Road, Cambridge Lane, and Oxford Lane at
17 their intersections with Highland Drive to require traffic on
18 said streets to yield the right -of -way to traffic on Highland
19 Drive.

City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 22nd day of May l 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
