4 ',,RM ?-ZAS, Section 12.52.010 of the Newport Beach
51 t Municipal ;ode provides that whenever any resolution of this City
61 designates any one -e.-Tay street the City Traffic Engineer shall
7 place and maintain signs giving notice thereon`_, and Section
8 12.52.020 of the Municipal Code provides that when signs are
9 erected on any one-way street giving notice thereof, no person
10' shall drive, or par'_x, any vehicle in a direction contrary thereto;

13 which should be designated as a one -way street in order to •_aril -
141 itate the flow of traffic and eliminate traffic hazards;

16 South Speedway to a point approximately 80 feet southerly of PaTIC
17 Avenue is cn signated as a once -way street for north bound traffic

19 BE IT MRTLM% , MSOLVZD that the City Traffic Engineer
20 is authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mart, said
21 street to indicate the above designation.
