2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH CHANGING THE N&4E OF RUDDER ROAD

5i TMEREAS,, the Planning Commission of the City has recom-
6' mended to the City Council the changing of the names of all the
71 streets in Beacon Bay in the City of Newport Beach; and
8i W Z S, Section 34091.1 of the Government Code aut10-
9 rizes the legislative body to change the name of any city street
10 by adoption of a resolution; and
11 WEMMS, after consideration of said recommendation, it
12 appears that it would be in the interests of the City and con -
13I venient to the public to change the name of Rudder Road only, as
141 hereinafter sett forth;
15 NOW TdEREPOTM., BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
16 the City of Newport Beach that the name of that certain street
171 as Rudder Road, as shown on the drawing designated "com. # 1,
18 Beacon Bay Coat, Assoc. St. Name Change ", a copy of which is att
191 hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and by this reference incorporated
20 herein and made a part hereof, be changed to Beacon Bay,
21 BE IT MTHER UISOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to
22; forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Super-

251 visors of Orange County in accordance with the provisions of
24 Section 34092 of the Government Code.
251 ADOPTED this 13th day of November, 1967.
