2I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT.BEACH,CHANGING.THE NAME.-OF PORTIONS OF.
3I OXFORD.LANE AND CAMBRIDGE LANE TO SOMERSET LANE

5� WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City has recom-
6 mended to the City Council the changing of the name of portions of
7 Oxford Lane and Cambridge Lane in the City of Newport Beach; and
8 WHEREAS, Section 34091.1 of the Government Code author -
9 izes the legislative body to change the name of any city street by
10 adoption of a resolution; and
11 WHEREAS, after consideration of said recommendation, it
12 appears that it would be in the interests of the City and con-
13� venient to the public to change the name of portions of Oxford
14 Lane and Cambridge Lane as hereinafter set forth;
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
16 the City of Newport Beach that the name of those portions of
17 Oxford Lane and Cambridge Lane extending easterly from Highland
181 Drive to Somerset Lane, as shown on the drawing designated 'STREET
19 NAME CHANGE, Extend Somerset Lane to Highland Dr. at Both Ends)), a
20 copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and by this
21 reference incorporated herein and made a part hereof, be changed
22. to Somerset Lane.
23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed
24 to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of
25 Supervisors of Orange County in accordance with the provisions of
26 Section 34092 of the Government Code.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6665 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 13th day of November , 1967,
