21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY of
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE.CON -_
3 STRUCTION OF RESTROOM AND PARKING LOT AT WASHING-
TON STREET AND BAY AVENUE (CONTRACT NO. 1153)

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
6I consisting 9f the construction of restroom and parking lot at
7 Washington Jtreet and Bay Avenue in the City of Newport Beach, in
8 accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted,
9 bids were received on the 20th day of February, 1968, and publicly
10 opened dad declared; and
11 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12 therefor is The Vandervort Company;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of The
14 Vandervort Company for Alternate B in the amount of $16,781.58 be
15 accepted and that the contract for the construction work be
16 awarded to said bidder.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
18 are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
19 accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
20 of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
21 to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
22 ADOPTED this 26th day of February, 1968.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6707 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 26th day of February 1968,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons, Gruber, Cook, Forgit, Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Marshall
