RESOLUTION NO. 6721
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ORDERING THE CANVASS OF THE GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE 9TH DAY OF
APRIL, 1968, TO BE MADE BY THE CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, a regular general municipal election will be
held and conducted in the City of Newport Beach on Tuesday, the
9th day of April, 19688 as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires the can-
vass of said election to be made by the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows-
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 22932.5 of the Elections
Code of the State of California, the canvass of the regular gen-
eral municipal election to be held in the City of Newport Beach
on Tuesday, the 9th day of April, 1968, is hereby ordered to be
made by the City Clerk.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall, prior to the 16th day
of April, 1968, complete the canvass of the regular general munic-
ipal election to be held in said City on the 9th day of April,
1968, and shall certify the results to the City Council on the
16th day of April, 1968.
ADOPTED this 11th day of March, 1968.

I, LAURA LAGIOS, City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach, California,
do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6721 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 11th day of March 1968,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Marshall, Gruber, Cook,
Forgit, Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Parsons
