RESOLUTION NO. 6735
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF .EASEMENT
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
has executed and delivered to the City of Newport Beach a Grant of
Easement, which grants to the City an easement for street and
highway purposes over all that certain land situated in the City
of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows;

That portion of Bloch 94 of Irvine's Subdivision, in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map filed in Book 1, ?age 88 of
Miscellaneous Record Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Northerly right of way
line of Pacific Coast Highway, as described in the deed
to the State of California recorded May 20, 1931 in
Book 487$ page 3,0 of Official Records, said point being
North 78 33 07 West 202,00 feet from the most Westerly
corner of the land described as Parcel "B" in the deed to
the City of Newport Beach recorded June.17, 1966 in Book
7964, page 631 of Official Records;_ thence South 78° 331
0770 East 202.00 feet along said Northerly ritat of way
line to said most Westerly corner of Parcel `B'a; thence
North 61° 161 51" East 30,56 feet along the Northwesterly
line of said Parcel 'W' to the most Easterly corner thereof,
being a point on a non +tangent curve concave Southeasterly
having a radius of 1266.00 feet, a radial to said point
bears North 680 261 3178 West, said curve being also the
Northwesterly line of Parcel '0A" in said deed to the City
of Newport Beach; thence Northeasterly 36.75 feet along
said Northwesterly line and said curve through an angle
of 1° 391 47" to a point, said point being the beginning
of a reverse.curve concave Northwesterly having a radius
of 50.00 feet, a radial to said point bears South 660 46'
449° East; thence Southwesterly 67.27 feet along said curve
through an angle of 77° 04' 52e; thence North 790 4.11 52"
West 184.41 feet to a line which bears North 110 26' 53"
East from the Point of Beginning; thence South 110 26x•53"
West 12.,31 feet to the Point of Beginning,
SUBJECT TO any and all existing easements and rights of way
of record or apparent;
WHEREAS, the Grant of Easement provides that it is made
upon the express condition that in the event of the taking of the
underlying fee interest by exercise of the power of eminent
domain by Grantee or any successor or assign of Grantee, or the

li State of California, the valuation of said underlying fee interest
2I shall not be diminished by reason of the easement, and for such
3i purposes the easement shall be deemed as terminated as of the date
4 of said taking; and
5� MlEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
• 6 said Grant of Easement;
7 NOW31 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said ;rant of Ease -
8j meat is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and di-
9 rected to execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance
10 and consent to its recording and to record said document in the
11 County Recorderts office.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No, 6735 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 25th day of March 1968,
by the following vote, to wit:
