4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH FDIING THE SALARY
5 OF THE CITY ATTORNEY

7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
8 has the power and duty to fix the salary of the City Attorney and
9 to designate the time to be devoted to the duties of the office
10 in the resolution fixing the compensation; and
11 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6810 established the salary of
12 the City Attorney, beginning July 1, 1968, and the time to be
13 devoted to the duties of the office;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 1,
15 1969, Resolution No. 6810 be rescinded, and that the salary of the
16 City Attorney, beginning July 1, 1969, shall be $22,500.00 per
17 fiscal year for full -time employment, payable in monthly, semi -
18 monthly, or biweekly installments as is most convenient in the
19 ordinary course of the preparation of the City's payroll.
20 ADOPTED this 16th day of June, 1969.
