A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING
OF VEHICLES ON A PORTION OF BALBOA BOULEVARD
• WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code provides that when authorized signs are in place giving
notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day for a
period of time longer than one hour upon such streets or portions
thereof as the City Council shall designate by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of vehicles
as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, during the period
from June 15th to August 31st annually, the parking of vehicles
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except Saturdays and
Sundays, shall be limited to one hour on the north side of Balboa
Boulevard, starting 230 feet east of 18th Street and extending to
18th Street.
ADOPTED this 14th day of July, 1969.
