A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
QUITCLAIM DEED TO THE IRVINE COMPANY, RELEASING
THE CITY'S INTEREST IN AN EASEMENT FOR I)ATER
LINE FACILITIES AT THE EASTBLUFF WATER BOOSTER
STATION
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach water line
facilities have been removed from the Eastbluff water booster
station and the structure housing said facilities has been
abandoned; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City has
no present or prospective need for the water line easement
formerly granted to the City, legally described as:
That easement to the City of Newport Beach for
water line purposes over a portion of Lot 112,
Tract 4893 as shown on a map recorded in
Book 180, Page 20 of Miscellaneous maps, Records
of Orange County, California,
or for the abandoned structure thereon;
NO14$ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and
City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute
a quitclaim deed releasing to The Irvine Company the City's
interest in the above described water line easement, and in any
appurtenances or improvements located on said easement.
ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 1969.
