A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
QUITCLAIM DEED IN CONNECTION WITH A STORM DRAIN
EASEMENT LOCATED OVER A PORTION OF LOTS 8 AND
9 OF TRACT NO. 3232
WHEREAS, a storm drain system has been constructed in
connection with the development of Tract 6927, a subdivision of
the easterly portion of Tract 3232; and
WHEREAS, the existing storm drain located over a
portion of Lots 8 and 9 of the original Tract 3232 has been
abandoned and all the pipe removed, and is no longer necessary
by reason of the construction of said new storm drain system; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that there
is no further public need for the said storm drain easement
abandoned in connection with the development of Tract 6927 within
Tract 3232;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim
deed to the owner of record, The Irvine Company, releasing the
City's interest in and to the following described storm drain
easement:
That real property in the City of Newport Beach,
County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
A strip of land 15.00 feet in width, over that
portion of Lots 8 and 9, Tract No. 3232 as per map
recorded in Book 99, Pages 49 and 50 of Miscellaneous
Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County,
the center line of said strip being described as follows:
Beginning at a
said Lot 8 which is
measured along said
said lot, said poin
westerly and having
to said point bears
point in the Northeasterly line of
distant Northwesterly 66.14 feet as
line from the Easterly corner of
being on a curve concave South -
a radius of 975.00 feet, a radial
North 560 31° 3999 East; thence

South 340 55' 09" West 13.91 feet to the beginning
of a curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius
of 45.00 feet; thence Southwesterly 21.71 feet along
said curve through an angle of 27° 38' 46 "; thence
South 620 33r 55n West 217.38 feet, more or less,
parallel with the Southwesterly prolongation of the
center line of E1 Paseo Drive as shown on the map of
said tract to the Southwesterly line of said tract.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to cause said quitclaim deed to be recorded in the
Office of the Orange County Recorder.
ADOPTED this 11th day of May, 1970.
