A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A
• DEED CONVEYING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED
IN THE NEWPORT CENTER FROM THE IRVINE COMPANY
TO THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, FOR USE AS A
FIRE STATION SITE
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach, acting through
its City Council, has approved and authorized the execution of
an agreement for the purchase of certain real property located
in the Newport Center for use as a City Fire Station site; and
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company as the owner of said real
property has executed a Corporation Grant Deed conveying said
real property to the City of Newport Beach, which property is
described as follows:
That portion of Block 55 of Irvine's Subdivision, in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map filed in Book 1, page 88 of
Miscellaneous Record Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeasterly terminus of that
certain center line course of Jamboree Road described
as'North 42° 35' 31" East, 860.76 feet" in Parcel A
in a deed to the City of Newport Beach recorded June
17,1966 in Book 7964, page 631 of Official Records
of said County; thence South 43° 30' 31" West 535.20
feet along said center line; thence leaving said center
line South 46° 29' 2911 East 194.10 feet to the beginning
of a curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of
580.00 feet; thence Southeasterly 131.60 feet along
said curve through an angle at 13° 00' 001p to the True
Point of Beginning; thence continuing Southeasterly 188.69

180 389 23/°; thence non - tangent North 750 08' 54" East
83.23 feet to the beginning of a curve concave North -
westerly_having a radius of 500.00 feet; thence North-
easterly 247.13 feet along said curve through an angle
of 280 19' 08 "; thence North 43° 10' 14" West 15.00 feet
along a radial to said curve to a point on a non - tangent
curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of 485.00
feet and concentric with last mentioned curve; thence
non- tangent North 460 29' 29" West 264.59 feet; thence
• South 430 30' 31" West 184.51 feet to a point on a
non - tangent curve concave Southwesterly having a radius
Adsk of 630.50 feet and being concentric with the above
described curve having a radius of 580.00 feet; a radial

South 56 30' 31t0 West 50.50 feet along said radial to
the True Point of Beginning.

WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
. said Corporation Grant Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Corporation
• Grant Deed is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized
and directed to execute and attach thereto a certificate of
acceptance and consent to its recording, and to cause said
document to be recorded in the Orange County Recorder's office.
ADOPTED this 13th day of July, 1970.
