RESOLUTION NO. I' 3 6 6
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF
STORM DRAIN EASEMENTS IN TRACT 1218
WHEREAS, on March 25, 1947, the Board of Supervisors
of Orange County approved a final subdivision map for Tract
No. 1218 "Cliff Haven ", which was recorded in Book 37, pages
47 - 49, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County; and
WHEREAS, said subdivision map contained an offer to
dedicate the following easements for storm drain purposes which
said easements are shown on City of Newport Beach Drawing No.
D- 5058 -5, designated Exhibit "A ", which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference:
and
(a) A 20 -foot wide storm drain easement over the
rear of Lots 1 through 18 inclusive
(b) A 20 -foot wide storm drain easement over the
southerly side of Lot 148
(c) A 10 -foot wide storm drain easement with its
centerline on the common line between Lots 9
and 10
WHEREAS, at the time it approved said subdivision map
the Board of Supervisors rejected the offer to dedicate said
storm drain easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the
public interest requires that it rescind its prior action and
accept the offer of dedication of said easements as shown on
Exhibit "A ",
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach as follows-

Section 1. The prior actions of the Board of
Supervisors of Orange County in rejecting the offer to dedicate
said storm drain easements as shown upon Exhibit "A" is hereby
rescinded and the areas within said easements are hereby
accepted and dedicated as public storm drain easements.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to cause this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder
of Orange County.
ADOPTED this 25th day of January , 1971.
