A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING THE DESTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN RECORDS
0 WHEREAS, there are certain records, documents, instruments,
books and papers in the City Clerk's office which are no longer
required for any City business and are ready for destruction,
pursuant to the City Clerk's approved Records Retention. Schedule;
and
WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the Government Code provides that
such records may be destroyed with the approval of the legislative
body;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to
destroy, and the City Council approves of the destruction of, the
records itemized and described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, said
exhibit consisting of pages 1 through 7.
ADOPTED this 12th day of July, 1971.
