RESOLUTION NO. 7578
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH CHANGING THE NAME OF RUE DE
LA VERDURE, IN TRACT NO. 7384, TO "RUE VERTE"
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Newport Beach has recommended to the City Council the changing
of the name of a certain street as shown on the Final Map of
Tract No. 7384 in the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, Section 34091.1 of the Government Code of
the State of California authorizes the legislative body to
change the name of any city street by adoption of a resolution;
and
WHEREAS, after consideration of said recommendation
it appears that it would be in the interests of the City and
convenient to the public to change the name of Rue de la Verdure,
as shown on the Final Map of Tract No. 7384, to "Rue Verte,"
as hereinafter set forth;
NOW,, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the name of Rue de la Verdure, in
Tract No, 7384, as shown on the drawing designated "STREET NAME
CHANGE, RUE DE LA VERDURE TO RUE VERTE." a copy of which is at-
tached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and by this reference incor-
porated herein and made a part hereof, be changed to "Rue Verte."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed
to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of
Supervisors of Orange County in accordance with the provisions
of Section 34092 of the Government Code.
