RESOLUTION NO. 7635
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC
INTEREST AND NECESSITY DEMAND THE ACQUISITION
AND CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL IMPROVE-
MENTS AND MAKING FINDINGS RELATING THERETO
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE,
AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That the public interest and necessity
demand the acquisition and construction by said City of cer-
tain municipal improvements, to wit:
A. A certain municipal improvement for park
and recreational purposes, including the
acquisition of sites and provisions for
open space.
B. A certain municipal improvement for the
development of park and recreational
facilities, including all utilities,
furnishings, and equipment necessary or
incidental thereto,
C. A certain municipal improvement for park
and recreational purposes, including the
future acquisition of sites and provisions
for open space:;.
That the estimated costs of said municipal improve-
ments are:
A. $3,560,000
B. $2,425,000
C. $3,000,000.
That said municipal improvements At B and C each re-
quire an expenditure greater than the amount allowed for it by
the annual tax levy and is necessary and convenient to carry
lout the objects,.purposes and powers of said City.
ADOPTED this 13th day of March , 1972

I, LAURA LAGIOS, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of said City and was approved
by the Mayor of said City at a regular meeting of said City
Council held on the 13th day of March, 1972, and that it was
adopted by a vote of two - thirds of the members of said City
Council, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN McInnis, Kymla, Rogers, Hirth,
Croul, Dostal, Parsons
NOES: COUNCILMEN None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN None
