RESOLUTION NO. 6 92a
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING THE DESTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN RECORDS
WHEREAS, there are certain records, documents, instru-
ments, books and papers in the City Clerk's office which are no
longer required for any City business and are ready for destruc-
tion, pursuant to the City Clerk's approved Records Retention
Schedule; and
WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the Government Code provides
that such records may be destroyed with the approval of the legis-
lative body;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that.the City Clerk is hereby authorized to
destroy, and the City Council approves the destruction of, the
records itemized and described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
said exhibit consisting of pages 1 through 9.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of January, 1973.
