RESOLUTION NO. 7978
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH REPEALING RESOLUTION
NO. 7697 AND ABOLISHING THE SANTA ANA
RIVER - SANTIAGO CREEK GREEN BELT PLAN NEW-
PORT BEACH CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Santa Ana River - Santiago Creek Green
Belt Plan Newport Beach Citizens Advisory Committee was created
by Resolution No. 7697, adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach on May 8, 1972; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that mem-
bership in the Greenbelt Joint Powers Agreement would not be
appropriate at this time; and
WHEREAS, accordingly there is no longer a need for
this Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that Resolution No. 7697 is
hereby repealed and that the Santa Ana River - Santiago Creek
Green Belt Plan Newport Beach Citizens Advisory Committee is
hereby abolished.
ADOPTED this 7th day of May , 1973.
