A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE PLANNED
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE KOLL
CENTER NEWPORT PLANNED COMMUNITY
WHEREAS, Section 20.51.070 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that amendments to a planned community
district development plan must be approved by a resolution of
the City Council setting forth full particulars of the amend-
ment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of New-
port Beach conducted a public hearing on August 2, 1973, at
which time it considered amendments to the planned community
development plan for the Koll Center Newport Planned Community;
and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing the Planning Commis-
sion adopted Resolution No. 816 recommending to the City Council
that certain amendments to the Koll Center Newport Planned Com-
munity Development Standards, which would include the addition
of "footprint lots" within the planned community, revise the
permitted land area for a restaurant site within Office Site
A, and permit the combination of temporary identification signs
into one sign; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that
those certain amendments to the Koll Center Newport Planned
Community Development Standards which are set forth above are
desirable and necessary; and
WHEREAS,.the City Council has conducted a public
hearing on the proposed amendments in accordance with all pro -
visions of law.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
hereby approves the proposed amendments to the planned community
development standards for the Koll Center Newport Planned Commun-
ity as referred to herein above.
