A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT
OF THE NEWPORT BEACH GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, a phase of the City's.General Plan Program
has involved the preparation of a Land Use Element which was
adopted by the City Council on May 24, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Newport Beach, pursuant to Section 707 of the Newport Beach
City Charter, has held a public hearing to consider the
adoption of an amendment to the Land Use Element as a part
of the City's General Plan and has adopted and has recommended
that the City Council adopt said amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted a public
hearing to consider the adoption of an amendment to the Land
Use Element as a part of the City's General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach does hereby adopt the amendment
to the Land Use Element described above, a copy of which is on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
ADOPTED this 17th day of December , 1973.
