A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
A QUITCLAIM DEED RELEASING TO THE OWNERS OF
RECORD THE CITY'S INTEREST IN A SEWER EASEMENT
IN CONNECTION WITH RESUBDIVISION 451
0 WHEREAS, a certain sewer easement located on a
parcel of property formerly identified as Parcels 1 and 3
of Resubdivision 408 and subsequently combined into one
parcel designated Resubdivision 451, is no longer required
by reason of said re- development; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City has
no present or prospective need for said sewer easement which
is more particularly described as follows:
That portion of Lot B as shown on a map filed in
Book 9, page 19 of Parcel Maps and that portion of
Parcel 2 as shown on a map filed in Book 1, page 35 of
Parcel Maps, both records of the County of Orange,
State of California, included within a strip of land 10.00
feet in width, the southeasterly line thereof being
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southwesterly terminus of the
southeasterly line of that certain strip of land,
10.00 feet in width, described in the deed to the City of
Newport Beach recorded December 19, 1967 in Book 8470,
page 597 of Official Records of said County of Orange;
thence along the southwesterly prolongation of said
southeasterly line, South 39 059141" West, 130.00 feet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk be
and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim
releasing to the owner or owners of record the City's interest
in the above- described sewer easement.
ADOPTED this 10th day of June, 1974.
