A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A LETTER AGREEMENT SUBMITTED BY
MAWHINNEY AND ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR APPRAISAL
SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE LIDO ISLE
BEACH LEASE
WHEREAS, the Lido Isle Community Association has
requested the City to renew the Lido Isle Beach Lease which
will terminate on June 11, 1976; and
WHEREAS, in order to negotiate a new lease, it is
necessary to have an appraisal of the property subject to the
lease in order to compute the fair rental value; and
WHEREAS, the firm of Mawhinney and Associates, Inc.,
Real Estate Appraisers, have submitted a letter proposal to
perform said appraisal services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said letter
agreement and found it to be fair and equitable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager
is hereby authorized to execute the letter agreement submitted
by Mawhinney and Associates, Inc. as described hereinabove.
ADOPTED this 25th day of November , 1974.
