RESOLUTION NO. 8555
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DELETING THE TIME
LIMIT FOR PARKING OF VEHICLES ON A PORTION
OF BALBOA BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that when authorized signs are in place
giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park
any vehicle between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of
any day for a period of time longer than one hour upon such
streets or portions thereof as the City Council shall designate
by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 7029
limiting parking during the period from June 15 to August 31
annually, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except
Saturdays and Sundays, on the north side of Balboa Boulevard,
starting 230 feet east of 18th Street and extending to 18th
Street; and
WHEREAS, it is no longer necessary to limit the parking
of vehicles on said portion of Balboa Boulevard as hereinbefore
provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parking restric-
tions imposed on the north side of Balboa Boulevard, starting
230 feet east of 18th Street and extending to 18th Street,
adopted by Resolution No. 7029, are hereby deleted.
