HomeMy WebLinkAbout8638 - No Parking Restrictions for Street SweepingRESOLUTION NO. 8638 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING "RESTRICTIONS FROM 8:30 A.M. TO • 12:30 P.M. ON LIDO ISLE STREETS ON CERTAIN DAYS, IN CONNECTION WITH THE STREET SWEEP- ING PROGRAM &44 WHEREAS, Section 12.5.5„150 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall by Resolu- tion designate streets or portions of streets on which the parking or standing of vehicles is to be prohibited, and shall designate in the Resolution the days of the week and the exact hours during which such prohibition shall be in effect; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is reasonable and in the public interest to prohibit parking of vehicles at certain times and in certain areas of the City in order to effectively operate the City street sweeping program; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach that parking of vehicles shall be prohibited between the hours of 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on the following days and in the following areas: STREET SIDE DAY Via Lido Soud Southerly Tuesday Via Lido Nord Northerly Tuesday Via Barcelona Westerly Tuesday Via Dijon Westerly Tuesday Via Fermo Westerly Tuesday Via Genoa Westerly Tuesday Via Harve Westerly Tuesday Via Jucar Westerly Tuesday Via Lorca Westerly Tuesday Via Nice Westerly Tuesday Via Palermo Westerly Tuesday Via Ravenna Westerly Tuesday Via Trieste Westerly Tuesday Via Venezia Westerly Tuesday Via Xanthe Westerly Tuesday Via Zurich Westerly Tuesday Zurich Circle Inside Tuesday Via Cordova Easterly Tuesday Via Eboli Easterly Tuesday Via Firenze Easterly Tuesday • Via Florence Easterly Tuesday ADOPTED this 10th day of November, 1975. r iATTEST.
