RESOLUTION NO. 8682
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AND THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE IN CONNECTION WITH THE SECOND YEAR HUD
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Cooperation Agreement
between the City of Newport Beach and the County of Orange
in connection with the Second Year HUD Block Grant Program;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms
and conditions of said agreement and found them to be fair and
equitable, and in the best interests of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said agreement above described
is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach.
BE I`1' FURTHER RESOLVED that the Housing Assistance
Plan is hereby approved with the understanding that the figures
will be revised upon receipt of the 1976 special census data.
