RESOLUTION NO. 8690
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A
GRANT DEED FROM THE BANK OF NEWPORT
IN CONNECTION WITH REAL PROPERTY ALONG
LAFAYETTE AVENUE AND 32ND STREET
(RESUBDIVISION NO. 491)
WHEREAS, there has been delivered to the City of
Newport Beach a certain grant deed dated December 18, 1975,
wherein the Bank of Newport grants to the City of Newport
Beach the following described real property in connection
with the City's purchase of property along Lafayette Avenue
and 32nd Street, Newport Beach, California:

WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to
accept said grant deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said grant is hereby accepted,
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and
attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent to its
recording and to cause said document to be recorded in the
Orange County Recorder's Office.
ADOPTED this 26th day of January, 1976.

Those certain parcels of land being a portion of Lots 10 thru 15 inclusive
in Block 530 of Lancaster's Addition as said tract is shown on a map recorded
in Book 5, page 14, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California,
together with that portion of 32nd Street, formerly blashington Avenue, 30 feet
centerline of said alley; thence North 0044'30" West a distance of 110.00
feet along the Southerly prolongation and the Northerly prolongation
of the Westerly line of Lot 21 in said Block 530 to a point in a line
parallel with and 87.00 feet, Northerly measured at right angles, from
the Southerly line of that certain parcel of land as described in the
grant deed recorded August 10, 1950, in Book 2054, page 24 of Official
Records of Orange County, said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING:
thence North 89015'30" East a distance 135.15 feet along said parallel
line to a tangent curve, concave Southwesterly, having a central angle
of 111039'00" and a radius of 40.00 feet; thence East, Southeast and
Southwesterly a distance of 77.95 feet along the arc of said curve,
to a point of tangency with a line, parallel with and Northwesterly
36.00 feet measured at right angles, from the Northwesterly right -of-
way line of Lafayette Avenue, being 40.00 feet in width as said right -
of -way is shown on said Record Map of Lancaster's Addition; thence
South 20054'30" West a distance of 34.69 feet to a point, hereinafter
referred to as Point. "A ", said point being in the Southerly line of
that certain parcel as described in said deed recorded in Book 2054,
page 24; thence North 89015'30" East a distance of 38.73 along said
