A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ALL
AMERICAN ASPHALT IN CONNECTION WITH STREET
RESURFACING - DOVER SHORES - WESTCLIFF AREA
1975 -76, CONTRACT NO. 1809
WHE REAS pursuant to notice invitin
g bids for
work in connection with the street resurfacing - Dover Shores,
Westcliff area, 1975 -76, in accordance with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the
1st day of June, 1976, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefore is All American Asphalt;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of All American
Asphalt for the work in the amount of $42,354.00 be accepted,
and that the contract for the described work be awarded to said
bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 14th day of June
1976.
