A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
A QUITCLAIM DEED AND AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
• CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AND WOODBINE CORPORATION
IN CONNECTION WITH A WATERLINE EASEMENT OVER
PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH
WHEREAS, there has been delivered to the City of
Newport Beach a certain quitclaim deed, together with an
agreement between the City of Newport Beach and Woodbine
Corporation, in connection with a waterline easement over
property located in the City of Huntington Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, more fully described as follows:
That portion of that certain right -of -way
and easement 10.00 feet in width as described
in an indenture to the City of Newport Beach
recorded in book 183, page 244 of Official
Records in the Office of the County Recorder
in the County of Orange, State of California,
included within Tract 8948 as shown on a map
recorded in book 378, pages 42 and 43 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, being a portion of the property
erroneously described in a deed recorded
June 3, 1974 in book 11160, page 974 of
Official Records.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said quitclaim
deed, as well as the terms and conditions of said agreement
in connection therewith, and finds them to be satisfactory; and
that it would be in the best interest of the City to authorize
the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said quitclaim deed and
agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said quitclaim deed and agreement
above described are approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 9th day of August 1976.
