A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING THE NEWSPAPER RACK
Is REGULATIONS PROMULGATED BY THE CHIEF OF POLICE
WHEREAS, the Newport Beach Chief of Police has
promulgated standards, rules and regulations governing the
installation of newspaper racks and stands in the City of
Newport Beach (a copy of said regulations are attached to
this Resolution); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed those
standards, rules and regulations and found them to be fair
and equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to
Section 5.70.040 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach hereby adopts the standards,
rules and regulations promulgated by the Chief of Police for
the installation of newspaper racks on public property in the
City of Newport Beach.
