RESOLUTION NO. 9287
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING A SALARY INCREASE
FOR THE CITY LIBRARIAN
WHEREAS, the Board of Library Trustees has recom-
mended a salary increase for the City Librarian; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the
recommendation and believes a salary increase is appropriate
to be competitive with other cities in Southern California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach hereby approves a 58.002- 62.002
salary range for the City Librarian, effective July 1, 1978.
