RESOLUTION NO. 9335
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ORDERING THE VACATION AND
ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF CLUBHOUSE DRIVE
RIGHT -OF -WAY (ENTRANCE TO IRVINE COAST COUNTRY
CLUB)
WHEREAS, the City Engineer presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach
a certain map prepared by the Public
City of Newport Beach marked Exhibit
showing the portion of Clubhouse Dri
to Irvine Coast Country Club), which

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach approved and adopted said map on March 13, 1978, and
directed the City Clerk to file same in the proceedings for
the abandonment of said portion of Clubhouse Drive right- of -w.ay;
and
WHEREAS, on April 10, 1978, the City Council held
a public hearing for the purpose of hearing all persons
interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and
abandonment of said above - described portion of Clubhouse Drive
right -of -way; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines from
all of the evidence submitted that the subject portion of
Clubhouse Drive right -of -way described herein and more particu-
larly in Resolution No. 9286 is unnecessary for present or
prospective public use.
0 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said portion of Clubhouse Drive

more particularly described as:
Beginning at a point in the Northeasterly right -
of -way line of East Pacific Coast Highway as
described in Parcel 2 in the Grant of Easement
recorded in Book 12277, page 1310, Official Records,
Records of Orange County, California, said point
being N. 39 °38'00" E. 224.62 feet from the Easterly
corner of Lot 79 in Tract Number 1701 as shown on
map recorded in Book 52, pages 9 and 10 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California;
thence, N. 50 022'00" W. 55 feet along said North-
easterly right -of -way line; thence, N. 39 °38'
00" E. 56 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
Northerly and having a radius of 25 feet, the
center of said curve bears N. 39 °38'00" E;
thence, Easterly along said curve through a
central angle of 90 °, an arc distance of 39.27
feet, to a line tangent; thence, N. 39 138100"
E. 114.71 feet to the beginning of a curve
tangent concave Southerly and having a radius
of 120 feet; thence, Easterly along said curve
through a central angle of 90 °, an arc distance
of 188.50 feet, to the end of said curve; thence,
S. 39 °38100" W. along a line radial to last
mentioned curve a distance of 60 feet to the
beginning of a curve concave Southerly and
having a radius of 60 feet, the center of said
curve bears S. 39 038'00" W.; thence, Westerly
along said curve through a central angle of
90 °, an arc distance of 94.25 feet, to a line
tangent; thence, S. 39 °38'0.0" W. 114.71 feet
to the beginning of a curve tangent concave
Easterly having a radius of 25 feet; thence,
Southerly along said curve through a central angle
of 90 °, an arc distance of 39.27 feet, to the end
of said curve; thence S. 39 °38100" W. 56 feet
to a point in the Northeasterly right -of -way
line of said East Pacific Coast Highway; thence
N. 50 022100" W. 55 feet along said Northeasterly
right -of -way line to the point of beginning.
Reserving therefrom an easement for traffic signal
purposes described as the Southwesterly 56 feet
thereof measured at right angles to said centerline
of East Pacific Coast Highway."
is hereby ordered vacated and abandoned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
ordered to cause a certified copy of such order attested by the
Clerk under the seal of the City to be recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
