HomeMy WebLinkAbout9742 - Mayor & Administration Secretary & Clerk Typist• e RESOLUTION NO. 9742 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING ELIMINATION OF TWO SECRETARY POSITIONS AND CREATION OF ONE SECRETARY TO THE MAYOR /ADMINISTRATION POSI- TION AND ONE CLERK TYPIST II POSITION, AND AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT OF THE COMPENSATION PLAN AND TABLE OF AUTHORIZATION WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Newport Beach has recommended to the City Council that certain clerical positions within the City be reclassified; and WHEREAS, said reclassification will result in certain changes to the Compensation Plan and Table of Autho- rization of Permanent Employee Classes as set forth in Reso- lution No. 9646 which was adopted by the City Council on October 1, 1979, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Newport Beach hereby approves said reclassifi- cation and amends the Compensation Plan and Table of Authoriza- tion 6f Permanent Employee Classes as follows: 1. Two Secretary positions eliminated; 2. One Secretary to the Mayor /Administration class created, with a salary range of $1029 - $1251; 3. One additional Clerk Typist II position created at a salary range of $733 -$939. ATTEST: City Clerk ADOPTED this 10th day of March Mayor 1980.
