A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING STANDARD SPECIFI-
CATIONS FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION. 1979

STANDARD BID DOCUMENTS; STANDARD CONTRACT DOCU-
MENTS, INCLUDING STANDARDIZED INSURANCE FORMS
FOR CITY OF NEWPORT•.BEACH PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department of the City of
Newport Beach has presented to the City Council certain pub-
lications which are desired by the Public Works Department to
be used in regards to City of Newport Beach public works
projects; and
WHEREAS, said publications are the Standard Specifi-
cations For Public Works. Construction, 1979 Edition and 1980
Supplement; Work Area Traffic Control Handbook, 1978 Edition;
City of Newport Beach Design Criteria For Public Works Construc-
tion, 1980 Edition; City of Newport Beach Standard Special
Provisions And Standard Drawings For Public Works Construction,
1980 Edition; standard bid documents; and standard contract
documents, including standardized insurance forms; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve said
publications as the standards to be followed for City of
Newport Beach public works projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach hereby adopts said publications
as the standards to be used for City of Newport Beach public
works projects.
