RESOLUTION NO. 9907
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPOINTING WANDA E. ANDERSEN
AS CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, the office of City Clerk will become vacant on
October 31, 1980, when Doris George retires from that position;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make an appointment
to that office and has the power and duty to fix the salary and
conditions of employment of the City Clerk,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that WANDA E. ANDERSEN be and hereby is
appointed as City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach effective
November 17, 1980, pursuant to and subject to the provisions of
Section 602 of the Charter of the City of Newport Beach, and sub-
ject to the additional conditions as follows:
1. Salary range of 64.027, $2,700.00 per month;
2. The City Clerk shall receive the same vacation, sick
leave, retirement, advance training and attendance at confer-
ences, health insurance and life insurance as afforded to other
employees of the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 27th day of October, 1980.
