A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE COMPENSATION
PLAN AND THE TABLE OF AUTHORIZATION BY ADDING
AN ADDITIONAL GROUNDSMAN GARDNER I POSITION
THERETO
WHEREAS, the City Council approved an Agreement between
the City of Newport Beach and Newport -Mesa Unified School
District whereby the City provides landscape services at certain
Newport -Mesa Unified School District facilities in exchange for
the use of said facilities; and
WHEREAS, to provide said services, an additional
Groundsman Gardner I position must be added to the Compensation
Plan and Table of Authorization of Permanent Employee Classes as
adopted by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach hereby approves an amendment to the
Compensation Plan and Table of Authorization of Permanent
Employee classes by adding thereto one permanent Groundsman
Gardner I position to the Parks, Beaches and Recreation
Department. The compensation for said position shall be as set
forth in the current Compensation Plan and Table of Authorization
of Permanent Employee classes.
