A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMEND'ING THE PLANNED
• COMMUNITY DISTRICT REGULATIONS FOR
AERONUTRONIC FORD, INCLUDING THE FINDINGS
AND ACCEPTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENT
(AMENDMENT NO. 564)
WHEREAS, Section 20.51.045 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that final amendments to a Planned
Community Development Plan must be approved by a Resolution of
the City Council, setting forth full particulars of the
amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public
hearing on September 10, 1981, at which time it considered
certain amendments to the Planned Community Development plan for
Aeronutronic Ford, to delete a Roark site and increase the
permitted number of dwelling units in Area 5 from 39 to 48,
within the overall allowed 300 dwelling units for the district;
and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing the Planning Commission
adopted a resolution recommending to the City Council that
certain amendments to the Planned Community Development Plan for
Aeronutronic Ford as set forth in the Planning Commission Minutes
of September 10, 1981 be adopted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that
said amendments to the Planned Community Development Plan for
Aeronutronic Ford, as set forth in the Planning Commission
minutes of September 10, 1981, are desirable and necessary; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has conducted a
public hearing on the proposed amendments in accordance with all
provisions of the law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach hereby approves the proposed amendments
• to the Planned Community Development Plan for Aeronutronic Ford,
as reflected in the Planning Commission Minutes of September 10,
1981.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the deletion of a park site
and an increase in the permitted number of dwelling units in Area
5, from 39 to 48, within the overall allowed 300 dwelling units
for the district, be and hereby is approved.
