• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LICENSE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AND OLLIE S.
AND JACK 0. CARDEN FOR THE OPERATION OF COIN -
OPERATED TELESCOPES AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS
WITHIN THE CITY

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain License Agreement between
the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH and OLLIIE S. and JACK 0. CARDEN in
connection with the operation of coin - operated telescopes at
various locations within the City of Newport Beach, a copy of
which is attached hereto marked ]Exhibit "A" and incorporated
herein by reference; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and
conditions of said License Agreement and finds them to be fair
and equitable and that it would be in the best interests of the
City to execute said License Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said License Agreement above -
described is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute same on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of November , 1981.
