HomeMy WebLinkAbout83-106 - Amendment 593RESOLUTION NO. 83-106 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 593. • WHEREAS, the City Council has approved General Plan Amendment 82 -1; and WHEREAS, industrial development was allocated to the North Ford site; and WHEREAS, this development has been transferred to Koll Center Newport - Office Site "C" and converted to office use in consideration for residential development and provision of affordable housing opportunities on the North Ford site; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and considered the environmental document in making these recommendations; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 20.84.040 of the Newport/ Beach Municipal Code, the Planning Commission has recommended approval of Amendment No. 593 to the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach that Amendment No. 593, amending the Koll Center Newport Planned Community Development Plan (Exhibit 1) be approved.
