• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ESTABLISHING A ONE -HOUR PARKING TIME RESTRICTION ON THE SOUTH
SIDE OF BALBOA BOULEVARD BETWEEN 13TH AND 14' STREETS
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides,
among other things, than when authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, no
person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
of any day for a period of time longer than one hour, upon such streets or portions thereof
as the City Council shall designate by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Municipal Code further provides
that the City Council may vary the hours and days during which the foregoing restrictions
shall be in effect; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of vehicles as hereinafter provided.
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport

Beach that the parking of vehicles between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on
school days, shall be limited to one (1) hour on the south side of Balboa Boulevard
between 13'' and 14'h Streets.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Traffic Engineer is authorized and directed
to cause signs to be posted on such street giving notice of such parking restrictions.
ADOPTED, this 14th day of March, 2000.
