Dear Members of the Planning Commission:
At your December 19th meeting, an item concerning the Newport Harbor Yacht Club will be on your agenda. This item
was originally scheduled for your September 5`h meeting but was taken off agenda by staff in order to complete
additional studies.
I wanted to once again extend an invitation to you all to come down to the Club and allow us to show you first -hand
what we have planned. I understand that your procedure has changed in that this initial meeting is more of a study
session and then action would be taken at a subsequent meeting. It may make more sense to visit the facility between
the meetings, but I wanted to at least offer you the opportunity to see it beforehand if you wish.
