RESOLUTION NO. 84 -18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO THE NEWPORT BEACH LOCAL COASTAL
PROGRAM LAND USE PLAN FOR THE CORONA DEL MAR HOMES SITE.
WHEREAS, the Coastal Act of 1976 requires the City of Newport Beach to
prepare a local coastal program; and
WHEREAS, as a part of the development and implementation of the Coastal
Act, a Local Coastal Program Land Use Plan has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, said Land Use Plan sets forth objectives and supporting policies
which serve as a guide for the future development in the coastal zone in the
City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing to consider a
certain amendment to the Local Coastal Program Land use Plan and adopted
Resolution No. 1109 recommending to the City Council certain amendment to the
Local Coastal Program Land Use Plan in a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and certified the environmental
document when considering said amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does hereby approve the Local Coastal Program Land Use Plan
Amendment No. 4, as shown on Exhibit 1 attached.
ADOPTED this 12th day of March, 1984.

The language of the Land Use Element and the accompanying map shall be amended
to designate the former Corona del Mar Homes site for Multiple- Family
Residential use with a maximum of 40 dwelling units.
