• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF
TEMPORARY AND SEASONAL CLASSES FOR THE 1984 -
'85 FISCAL YEAR AND AMENDING THE
CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN TO
REFLECT SAID CHANGES AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 83 -71

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has adopted a Compensation Plan and establishing salaries for
temporary and seasonal classes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered salary
adjustments for temporary and seasonal employees; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the
Classification and Compensation Plan to reflect the changes in
salaries and temporary seasonal classes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Classification and
Compensation Plan be and hereby is changed to reflect the
adjustment in salaries for temporary and seasonal classes,
effective July 7, 1984, as set forth on Exhibit "A ", attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said compensation shall be
payable in monthly, semi - monthly or bi- weekly installments, as is
most convenient in the ordinary course of the preparation of the
City's payment of obligations.
ADOPTED this 9th day of July , 1984.
