RESOLUTION NO. 84 -146
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE TRAINING AGREEMENTS
BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AND THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF CALIFORNIA
HIGHWAY PATROL, FOR FISCAL YEAR 1984 -'85
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of
California Highway Patrol, requires written training agreements
from any agency participating in the training programs; and
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach is required to authorize certain officers of the
Newport Beach Police Department to participate in said training
agreements for the 1984 -'85 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the City Manager be and hereby is
authorized and directed to sign said training agreements when
required for fiscal year 1984 -'85, as long as the amounts to be
paid by the City of Newport Beach are within the Police
Department budget for said fiscal year.
