A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH REQUIRING VEHICLES
TRAVELLING SOUTHBOUND ON ORANGE STREET TO
YIELD AT SEASHORE DRIVE.
• WHEREAS, Section 12.36.020 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides, among other things, that whenever
•
any ordinance or resolution of this City designates and
describes any street or any intersection at which vehicles
are required to yield the right -of -way at one or more
entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect and
maintain YIELD signs on each and every street intersecting
such street so designated; and
WHEREAS, there is considerable vehicular,
pedestrian and bicycle traffic at the intersection of Orange
Street and Seashore Drive requiring additional intersection
control.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach, that the following described
location is hereby designated as a location at which vehicles
are required to yield:
Orange Street, southbound at Seashore Drive
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic
Engineer be and hereby is directed to erect and maintain all
necessary signs at the above location.
