RESOLUTION NO. 91 -67
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH MODIFYING THE ANNUAL PIER FEE
PURSUANT TO SECTION 17.33.030 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1992
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 90 -62.
WHEREAS, Section 17.33.030 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
provides that an annual pier fee is established by resolution of
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all fees recommended
by the City Manager and finds them to be fair, equitable and
reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach hereby establishes the following Schedule of
Fees as the amounts to be deposited with the City pursuant to
Section 17.33.030 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code:
A. Non - Commercial Piers $60.00
B. Commercial Piers (not over
City tidelands) $20.00
For additional slip or float:
1. Not more than 10 slips
or floats $ 2.00
2. Not more than 20 slips
or floats $20.00 + $1.00
for each slip
or float in
excess of 10
3. More than 20 slips
or floats $30.00 + $.50
for each slip
or float in
excess of 20
• C. Commercial over City tide
and submerged lands: $ .23 per square
foot may be
increased in
accordance with
CPI (12 mo.
period beginning
12 -1 -90, ending
11- 30 -91)

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the fees shall become effective
January 1, 1992.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 90 -62 is hereby
rescinded effective January 1, 1992.
