RESOLUTION NO. 91- 89
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION
89 -136 PERTAINING TO THE CITY COUNCIL
CIRCULATION BUILDOUT AD HOC COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on November 27, 1989 the City Council adopted
Resolution 89 -136 which established the Council Circulation Build -
out Ad Hoc Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Circulation Buildout Ad Hoc Committee was
originally scheduled to sunset on January 1, 1981, but the term was
extended to July 1, 1991 by Resolution number 90 -123; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to extend the term of the
Circulation Buildout Ad Hoc Committee to July 1, 1992.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach hereby amends
Paragraph 2 of Resolution 89 -136 to add on subparagraph 2(E) to
read as follows:
"E. Conduct a community outreach /education program."
Section 2.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach hereby amends
Paragraph 3 of Resolution number 89 -136 to read as follows:
113. The Committee shall meet as often as necessary and shall
sunset on July 1, 1992, or when the final report of said
• Committee is transmitted to the City Council, whichever occurs
first."

Section 3.
The provisions of Resolution number 90 -123 relating to the
term of the Circulation Buildout Ad Hoc Committee are amended to be
consistent with the provisions of this Resolution.
