HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-65 - No Parking RestrictionsRESOLUTION NO. 93 -65 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING" RESTRICTIONS FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 12:30 P.M. ON DESIGNATED STREETS ON CERTAIN DAYS TO IMPROVE STREET SWEEPING EFFECTIVENESS AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION • NO. 93 -28. WHEREAS, Section 12.44.150 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall by Resolution designate streets or portions of streets on which the parking or standing of vehicles is to be prohibited, and shall designate in the Resolution the days of the week and the exact hours during which such prohibition shall be in effect; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is reasonable and in the public interest to prohibit parking of vehicles at certain times and in certain areas of the City in order to effectively operate the City street sweeping program;
