A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DECLARING CITYIS VACATION OF
SEWER, STORM DRAIN, WATER LINE AND PUBLIC
UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN HOAG HOSPITAL
PROPERTY.
• WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
pursuant to the provisions of the Street Vacation Act (Section 8300
et sea. of the Streets & Highways Code) is authorized to vacate
sewer, storm drain, water line and public utility easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach has
reviewed and considered the various elements of the General Plan of
the City of Newport Beach prior to declaring its intent to vacate
these sewer, storm drain, water line and public utility easements
and has determined that the proposed vacation is consistent with
the General Plan.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held a
public hearing on the proposed vacation of sewer, storm drain,
water line and public utility easements legally described on
Exhibit "A" and depicted on a map attached as Exhibit "B" at 7:00
P.M. on May 23, 1994, in the Chambers of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach located at 3300 Newport Boulevard, Newport
Beach, California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach desires
to vacate the sewer, storm drain, water line and public utility
easements legally described in Exhibit "A" and depicted on Exhibit
"B ", the vacation to be processed pursuant to the provisions of the
Street Vacation Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach that sewer, storm drain, water line and public
utility easements legally described in Exhibit "A ", and depicted on
Exhibit "B" are hereby ordered vacated and abandoned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed
to have this resolution recorded by the Orange County Recorder.
ADOPTED, this 23rd day of May, 1994.

California described as follows:
Parcels 2,3 and 4 described in Deed to the City of Newport Beach recorded in Book 9406,
Pages 685 through 690 inclusive of Official Records in the office of the County Recorder of
said County;
ALSO Parcels 8 and 9 described in Deed to the City of Newport Beach recorded as
Document No.92- 193306 of said Official Records;
ALSO that certain easement for road purposes and public utilities as reserved and
described in Parcel 1 of Deed recorded in Book 1398, Page 20 of said Official Records;
ALSO that certain easement described in Deed to the City of Newport Beach recorded in
Book 2190, Page 395 of said Official Records.
