HomeMy WebLinkAbout94-82 - No Parking Restrictions• RESOLUTION NO. 94 -82 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH "NO PARKING" RESTRICTIONS STREETS ON CERTAIN DAYS IMPROVE STREET SWEEPING AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION =NCIL OF THE ESTABLISHING ON DESIGNATED AND TIMES TO EFFECTIVENESS NO. 94 -28. WHEREAS, Section 12.44.150 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall by Resolution designate streets or portions of streets on which the parking or standing of vehicles is to be prohibited, and shall designate in the Resolution the days of the week and the exact hours during which such prohibition shall be in effect; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is reasonable and in the public interest to prohibit parking of vehicles at certain times and in certain areas of the City in order to effectively operate the City street sweeping program; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach that parking of vehicles shall be prohibited between the hours of 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on the following days and in the BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 94 -28 be and hereby is rescinded. Adopted this 12th day of September , 1994.
