A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
DECLARING THE CITY'S INTENT TO VACATE ANY AND ALL ABUTTER'S RIGHTS FOR
VEHICULAR ACCESS RIGHTS ALONG THE SOUTHERLY SIDE EAST COAST HIGHWAY
WESTERLY OF BAYSIDE DRIVE
•WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach intends to
abandon and vacate any and all abutter's rights for vehicular ingress and egress as relinquished to
the City of Newport Beach per Document No.4260 recorded in Book 7166 Page 657, and per
Document No. 4261 recorded in Book 7166, Page 661 both of Official Records in the office of the
Recorder of the County of Orange, State of California as described in Exhibit "A" and delineated on
Exhibit "B "; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach has considered the various elements
of the General Plan of the City of Newport Beach prior to declaring its intent to vacate said vehicular
access rights; and
WHEREAS, the proposed vacation is conducted pursuant to the provisions of the Public Streets,
Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law (Sections 8300, et seq. of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach that
the time and place for hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the proposed vacation shall be
7:00 P.M., or soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, October 24, 1994, in the Chambers of the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution of Intention shall be published for at least
two (2) successive weeks prior to the hearing in the official newspaper of the City of Newport Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Notices, stating the day, hour and place of the hearing, the
adoption of the Resolution of Intention, and a description of the access rights proposed to be vacated
shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart and least three (3) notices shall be
posted along the street.

Those certain vehicular access rights as relinquished to the City of
Newport Beach per Document No. 4260 recorded in Book 7166, Page 657,
and per Document No. 4261 recorded in Book 7166, Page 661 both of
• Official Records in the office of the Recorder of the County of Orange,
State of California. Said access rights being adjacent to Lots 1,3 and A
of Tract No.5361 as shown on map thereof filed in Book 190, Pages 47 and
48 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of said Recorder.
